This pretty and high-yielding chili comes from Brazil; it is often wrongly called Chupetinho. Like Habanero, it belongs to the species Capsicum chinense, and aroma and pungency are also in the Habanero range (there seems to be a mild variety, but ours is "hot").

Green fruits ripen in 60-75 days, red fruits ripen in approx. 85-100 days.
Fruit
The striking drop-shaped red ripening fruits grow to 2 to 3 cm long and about 1.5 cm in diameter. They grow hanging and are thin-fleshed.

The bushy ones with 50 to 70 cm height and up to 1 m in diameter are brimming with chillies - a real feast for the eyes with a sharp harvest and a protruding crown.

This variety from Brazil produces huge quantities of small and very pungent fruits, which have a distinct Habanero aroma. In addition, the fruits also ripen comparatively quickly.
