Life has no flavour without species!
Can you imagine a life without spices, without all those great flavours? No? We cannot either. Spices give the meal extra something that we are looking for. .
The most important of all spices is of course salt. Nothing really works without salt, life seems bland. The basic spice acts in food as a natural flavour enhancer, which emphasises the aromas of the individual foods. Where there is salt, there is also pepper. Both spices complement each other perfectly and are therefore used together in most recipes. For the same reason, salt and pepper form the basis for the vast majority of spice mixtures. However, the world of spices is not only made up of salt and pepper, the range is much more diverse and offers a whole range of imaginable flavours. The tastes range from tart, bitter to sour, and sweet.
By the way: spices are mostly edible parts of plants, for example buds, roots and leaves. These are then either just dried or further processed in dried form, for example into powder.

In the Pepperworld-Shop, for example, you will find many salts that you often search in vain even in Gourmet food shops. One example is the African pearl salt. This salt is sea salt from the Atlantic Ocean, which is obtained with the help of the hot desert sun. This special salt is taking its name after the size and shape of the individual salt crystals.
And how about black Hawaiian salt? To produce this salt, activated carbon must be extracted from coconuts. Then the noble sea salt from the Pacific Ocean is mixed with the carbon. This not only gives the salt a special colouring, but also a unique taste and health-promoting properties.
Of course, you will also find very tasty salt & pepper mixtures in our shop, for example, the salt & pepper spice mixture Deluxe of our own brand World of Salt. For this mix, a very special salt and a very special kind of pepper are blend with each other. The salt is Indian sun flakes. Also the pepper is a real highlight - green Malabar pepper directly from the pepper coast in India.
We would not be Pepperworld if we did not have the hottest Tabasco sauce in our range. This authentic sauce is spiced up with the fiery taste of Habaneros adding a light note of exotic fruit. Then as an example can you use the Tabasco Habanero Pepper Sauce to cook with fish and poultry. On our spiciness scale, Tabasco Habanero Pepper Sauce reaches a medium 6th place.
Another fiery spicy sauce is the Portuguese Piri-Piri Garlic Hot Sauce. As the name suggests, this spicy sauce is made from piri-piri (the common name for chillies in Portugal) and garlic.
