Cost effective and very easy to use

Jiffy peat tabs have it all - the "peat tab" is a small power pack with everything a seed or a cutlery needs: sphagnum white peat as a basis for healthy growth, dolomitic lime to control the pH and a balanced nutrient mix that accelerates germination and rooting.

If the source tablet is poured over with a little warm water, it quickly swells up to its actual volume. The pots get their shape from a fine net, through which the roots can later grow unhindered. The swelling takes only about five minutes. Then express a little more to remove the excess water, and then the peat turf pot is ready for sowing, for pecking small seedlings or cuttings. Later, the complete peat pot can be planted together with the fine-meshed net and the root ball grown in it; The net is then biodegraded in the garden bed or container.
 
Its test passed the million-selling peat pot "Jiffy-7" in commercial horticulture. There it is one of the safest and most successful breeding systems, from which we hobby gardeners also benefit. In Pepperworld-Chili growing we have been using Jiffy successfully for more than ten years.
