Almost everything is seasoned with a special spice mix that mainly consists of chili and paprika and, of course, herbs. Between Pepperworld friends the FeuerStreuer is also used for seasoning all kinds of meals from scrambled eggs to a vegetable pan and the uses can continue endlessly :) Our FeuerStreuer Cajun Dust includes all herbs and spices according to the Louisiana original recipe. Special paprika, garlic, salt, black pepper, Cayenne, onions, thyme, oregano and basil are nicely blended to a Cajun style spice mix. this is the replacement for the Angel Dust that is sadly no longer available. The follow-up is a very versatile spice mix that is not only great for use in the Cajun or Creole cuisine -'blackening' included- but also for cooking, when barbecuing or to add some seasoning and taste at the table. Also ideal as a (milder) BBQ rub for the people that do not prefer the heat as much. Since Cajun Dust is not as hot, you can use it generously for seasoning, just like they do in the Southern States' cuisine.
