Big Jim belongs, just like Anaheim or Joe E. Parker to the classic New-Mexican-Types, but it grows the biggest out of all of them - it even entered the Guinness World Records as "biggest chili on earth"; under the perfect conditions these chilis grow up to 30 cm; the more common length is 20 cm though. It grows 5-6 cm wide. Our picture shows Big Jim in comparism to a quarter dollar.
But being big isn´t everything - the fruits grow orderly and they get really fleshy and aromatic. In New Mexico they harvest them green and roast them before further process. The heat level is different from plant to plant but its between mild and medium. Green fruits in 70 days.
Package contains seeds for 15 plants.
Heat Level (1-10): 2-3
