Serranos are THE chili variety for Mexican cuisine, a must for fresh tomato based salsa. This new variety produces particularly large and numerous pods! The vigorous plants bear numerous fruits early on, which grow up to twice as long as conventional Serranos, and which quickly change from dark green to bright red. In addition, they have a super aroma and sharpness (sharper than jalapenos). Whether harvested green or red - (not only) in Mexico THE hit on nacho chips with cheese!
In addition, this vastly improved Serrano variant is resistant to TEV, PVY and PeMV. Original seed from US quality cultivation (no dubious breeding).
Green fruits ripened in 55 days, red in approx. 75 days. Package is sufficient for about 15 plants.
