Recipe: Pizza snails (for 4)


Pizza snails are quickly made and shorten the waiting time until the barbecue is ready!


Ingredients

  • 2 packs of pizzadough
  • 250g diced bacon 
  • 4-6 tablespoons of Barrel 51 Smokin' Chipotle Ketchup (order here)
  • 200g gratted cheese
  • 2 teaspoons Ankerkraut Oregano, shredded (order here)
  • 2 teaspoons Ankerkraut Basil, shredded (order here)
  • 2 onions 



Preparation

  1. Unpack the pizza dough and roll it out.
  2. Fry the chopped onions together with the diced ham.
  3.  Spread the ketchup on the dough and spread the fried diced ham and onion on top. Spread the oregano and basil and sprinkle the grated cheese over it.
  4.  Then roll up the pizza dough and cut off approx. 1 - 2 cm wide slices and place them on a baking tray covered with baking paper (makes 16 -20 snails).
  5. Bake the whole thing in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 15 to 20 minutes.
