Alici alla Calabrese by Sarubbi are anchovies pickled in full-bodied sunflower oil, salt and hot chillies. This aromatic brine gives the small fish an unmistakable Calabrian taste. This taste is naturally due to the high quality of the individual ingredients. At the same time, the manufacturer Sarubbi uses neither flavour enhancers nor colourings during the entire production process. These factors, coupled with a traditional production method in southern Italy, ensure that this Calabrian product from Sarubbi is also considered a true delicacy outside of Italy.

You can use Alici alla Calabrese for example on a pizza. The fish, pickled in oil, are already preserved and can therefore be eaten without hesitation as a snack between meals. However, the fish have already reached a size in which they should be gutted, if possible.
