Beautiful, unique Baccatum-Chili from Brazil.
During the ripening process the fruits change colors from white-yellow to purple to orange and finally into red. Beautiful to look at. Reminds us a little bit at the colorful Cajamarca Seed. The berry-looking 1-1.5 cm big fruits are a real highlight and sometimes they almost look unreal. Extraordinary!
The Pimenta Barra do Rieiro is not only as a decoration plant incredibly beautiful. The arome, the scent and the taste are very fruity just like other Baccatums. The medium heat makes them perfect for salsas, stew and for the South American fish speciality "Ceviche"
Also nice as a pot plant.
