Coming from Brazil ( also known as "Christmas-Bell") these chili fruits have a really individual and extraordinary "Design". The fruits are shaped like a bell or a mitre and taste a little bit like a pie plant.
Jamaican Bell Chilis grow like a little "Christmas tree". The chili tree grows approx. 50 cm. high and has bright red "bells" on it, the fruits. These juicy red Jamaican Bell's are approx. 3 - 5 cm big.The b lossom is 10mm big and has light green stripes. .
Because of the mild pie plant arome the Jamaican Bell´s are really pretty as a decoration or to garnish fresh salads or cheeseboards. Its also a good idea to preserve it like pickles. Extraordinary would be the "Chili-Garland" arond the christmas tree... :)
