Traditional onon marmelade– ein delight

Cipolle Rosse is a traditional onion marmalade from Italy whose taste is simply fantastic. The basis for this jam is red Tropea onions. The onions from Sarubbi therefore belong in the original recipe. To preserve the red onions, they are soaked in vinegar water, sugar, spices and salt. This not only preserves the onions, but also flavors them.

The red Tropea onions from Sarubbi are considered a real delicacy among connoisseurs. There are many reasons for this. In addition to an excellent taste, the choice ingredients and the traditional production method in southern Italy are of course also important factors. 

The fact that Cipolle Rosse from Sarubbi is a true delicacy is also reflected in the packaging, which is both simple and elegant. The red onions are delivered in a glass jar, which is wrapped with a banderole and a paper bonnet. Under this hood there is a guarantee seal which proves that the glass has not been opened. In the jar itself, there is a total of 280 g, which corresponds to several onions and is enough for a tasty Cipolle Rosse. 

Another advantage of Cipolle Rosse from Sarubbi is the fact that they do not use any flavour enhancers or colourings in their products - this is also true for Cipolle Rosse.
