Rare chilli variety from the Caribbean with hellishly hot, approx. 5cm high fruits in yellow. Butch Taylor' is a selection of the Trinidad Scorpion.
The Trinidad Scorpion Butch Taylor comes from an Australian farm (Chilli Company), it was listed in the Guinness Book of Records in 2011 as "Hottest Chilli in the World" and was replaced by the Trinidad Moruga Scorpion in 2012.
The plant grows bushy and grows up to 1 meter high.
The fruits are lampion-shaped, ripen yellow and have a sharp sting at the end.
In addition to its extreme hotness, it is characterised by an aromatic, fruity flavour.
It is used for hot sauces and chilli powder.
