Thyme - Small Leaves, Great Taste
Thyme is a low growing plant with small green leaves known as a spice and as a medicinal herb. Above all, thyme is known to belong to the Mediterranean region. Accordingly, it is a well-known spice of the Mediterranean cuisine. Another use obtained from the thyme leaves is in the treatment of cough. For this, the fresh or dried leaves are simply infused in a tea. The thyme bush grows leaves all year round and can therefore be harvested all year round. The plant will easily survive the frost in winter, as well as drought.
