Pickeld aubergine fillets – perfect as Antipasti

Melanzane a Filetti from Sarubbi are pickled slices of aubergine (aubergine fillets). This vegetable, very popular in Italy, is pickled in extra virgin olive oil, aromatic herbs, vinegar, garlic and a little salt. Fresh, Calabrian chillies provide a special spiciness. All ingredients of the Melanzane a Filetti of Sarubbi are of excellent quality. At the same time, the Italian manufacturer does not use any flavour enhancers or colourings during the entire production process. This results in a wonderful taste which, combined with the traditional production method in southern Italy, ensures that Melanzane a Filetti from Sarubbi is a real delicacy. This is also reflected in the product's simple yet elegant packaging. 

The pickled aubergine fillets are delivered in a jar which is wrapped with a banderole and a paper hood. Under the paper hood there is a guarantee seal, which remains intact until the glass is first opened. In the jar itself, there are 190 g, which corresponds to several aubergine fillets. 

The pickled aubergine fillets can be used, for example, as antipasti, in a Mediterranean salad or whenever the dish should have a Mediterranean taste. There are of course no limits to your creativity when using Sarubbi's Melanzane a Filetti.
