The pot pepper Hamik is a snack pepper with orange ripening, approx. 7 cm long fruits, which tastes pleasantly sweet and is perfectly suitable as a raw vegetable.
This Capsicum annuum comes from the Czech Republic. Its fruits become approx. 5-7 cm long and approx. 2-3 cm wide. They ripen in about 75 days from light green to orange and have hardly any 'seeds'.
Due to its compact growth and high yield it is well suited for pot culture. The variety is also very popular in England and the USA, where it is known under the name 'Yummy orange'.
It is used as a raw vegetable and for salads, soups, sauces etc..
