Sliced diavolini chillies in olive oil
In Calabria, hot red chillies are lovingly called Diavolini - "little devil". The tasty red pods taste great as antipasti, either "just like that" or, for example, in a baguette with sheep's cheese and Turkish salami.
The extra virgin olive oil with vinegar and salt, in which the delicious peperoncini are pickled, is also very tasty - you can enjoy it for vinaigrettes, drizzled over pasta or dunked with ciabatta.
Really a great chilli delicacy, highly recommended!
