Goronong Yellow is the rare Malaysian variety of the Habanero chilli. The plant grows between 70 - 100 cm high and shows the typical bushy Habanero growth with a protruding crown and lush broad leaves.

You should note that the Goronong needs warm temperatures for an optimal fruit set. Planting out in the open is therefore only possible to a limited extent. However, if you place the plant in a sunny place in the tub, you will be rewarded with plenty of fruit. The growth will then be very vigorous and the plant will produce an unusually large amount of fruit. With this you create a really opulent eye-catcher for your home. Maturing time: approx. 60 - 70 days. Shape: The fruits show extraordinary shapes with deep indentations and strong structure, with often twisted growth. The surface is pleasantly smooth and shiny. The flesh is thin-walled and therefore easy to cut.

Size: approx. 5- 8 cm.
Colour: Fruit ripens from green, through light yellow to an intense and beautiful yellow-orange.
Taste
Somewhat milder in pungency than Habaneros in general with a pleasant sweetness and fruity, lemony taste.
