Ox-heart Tomato seeds belong to the harvesting set of many tomato-lovers, because this variety exhibits an excellent taste and in Germany, for example, it's quite hard to get them in traditional trade. It is great for stuffing and for salads. For many Italians, the ox heart tomato is their favorite tomato, in this country you will find that the tomatoes can be much heavier, they can reach up to 500g . But you cannot find it so often outside Italy, because the tomato is not very robust and therefore difficult to transport. Other pluses of this tomato variety is that the fruits form little seed. The harvest starts relatively late, in July, especially when compared to the orange variety.
