Dolce Nero is the name of the range of original Vincotto producers Gianni Calogiuri, which combines the fine Vincotto with cocoa to create an incredible creaminess. Dolce Nero tastes like a very high quality chocolate sauce paired with a minimal acidity of balsamic vinegar. Anyone who has tried it once, will not get rid of it again.
This version of the Vincotto is perfect for cocktails with rum and vodka or in cappuccino - a dream for every chocolate lover!
Due to this composition, the Vincotto is suitable both for flavoring desserts and fruits as well as for seasoning salads, vegetables, meat and poultry dishes, especially cheese and rice dishes.
For the production of the Vincotto grapes are used, which are still drying on the vine under the influence of the sun. After picking, the grapes are processed to a must, which is then boiled. The resulting syrup is then mixed with vinegar, filled in oak barrels and stored for about 4 years until fully matured. After maturing, the Vincotto is refined with chocolate.
