Who does not know the world famous red Tabasco® Sauce from the house of McIlhenny. Since its discovery in 1868 it has been made from the exact same recipe: Bright red Tabasco chilies are grinded and mixed with the indigenous stone salt from Avery Island and barreled for up to three years in oak barrels. The resulting hot pepper sauce then gets mixed with salt and vinegar before it gets bottled ban send it all over the world. The vinegar is added for reasons more than just the durability; it’s added to give the sauce that special red pepper Tabasco taste. As it is a well know favorite, we also took it into our selection, and because it’s so well loved, we decided to offer you the original bottle size (2 ounces; 57 ml) Of course we also have the 140 ml and the 350ml available. Tabasco Pepper Sauce enriches almost all types of food and has been produced the exact same way for 140 years, now that really says something about it.
