Lingham's Ginger Chili Sauce - Ginger sauce refined with chili!
For this version of the Lingham’s Sauce we don't really want to talk about a chili sauce.
The ginger aroma is so strong, that it's more a ginger sauce that has been refined with chili. Even if for us the chili is always in first and center we are still impressed by this sauce. You can often see many products that brag they contain ginger but you cannot taste it. This is not true for this sauce. When you open it, you feel like you are holding a freshly grated ginger root. This feeling becomes real when you taste the sauce. True ginger awesomeness!
This ginger sauce impresses not only through its outstanding aroma but also through its ingredients: fresh chilis, ginger, vinegar and salt with no preservatives and additives. We like this! Lingham's is a prehistoric chili sauce producer in Malaysia. Lingham's Chilli Sauce is since 1908 produced there with the same century old recipe.

At the end of the line, I like the plain one most amongst those three products. Even though it has a rather strong ginger taste, I still can imagine it being a rather universal sauce for many purposes, such as rice, noodles, fries, crisps, vegetables, meat, marinade, bread, or even pure.
On a side note, the label notes that this sauce doesn't need to be refrigerated which saves precious space in my small fridge.
The bottle contains 280ml sauce which translates to 358g.
