 This salt inspires by the following characteristics:

• Our Sal Tradicional, the traditional Portuguese sea salt, is extracted from the salt flats of the Algarve coast.
• These are located in the Ria Farmosa nature reserve, far away from industry and large settlements.
• There, fresh Atlantic water is fed into the artificially created, shallow evaporation basins. Sun and wind let the water evaporate slowly, salt crystals are formed.
• With long wooden rakes, called "Rodos" by the salt farmers, the salt crystals are harvested and dried by the sun at the edge of the basins.
• A good universal salt for daily use.
• Grain size 1-5 mm.
