Pepperworld's (PepperPark GmbH) "Chili Cuvée No. 1" is a considerably hot sauce. I had gotten the 2018 "vintage". Of course I had to taste a tiny droplet in its pure form and I really like this sauce. First I thought I couldn't handle it, but after finishing the bottle over weeks, it certainly extended my upper limit.
I think the acidic part from the vinegar is quite muted by the mix of the different chillies. Somehow the sauce has a smokey touch to me, even though it doesn't seem to contain any smoked or roasted ingredient. Those two things are likely the reason why I often crave for a nice grilled steak or a juicy hamburger patty when tasting this sauce - yes, it really goes well with those. But I also tried it out on many different and I just like it, but I think it goes best with steaks and hamburgers.
