*** Winner 2013 Fiery Food Challenge, Zestfest USA ***
Those who know the saucing of Ed and Amy (click to the Born to Hula Series) know that this is all about the taste experience! We are, however, always happy to hear about new stuff coming from their sauce kitchen. This is the case as well...
It is not a proper new creation given its date of appearance, and it’s also a 2012 award winner, however, it is new to our program and it’s also really tasty… The Born to Hula Cayenne Chili Hot Sauce first caught our attention through its viscosity. Not as fluid as other sauces, it “crawls” out of its 150ml bottle. The fresh paprika and the perfectly ripened cayenne chilies lend it a wonderful color. You can see the freshness…
The multi-award-winning “Louisiana Style Hot Sauce” is from a taste standpoint exactly there, where its awards come from: a classic “Louisiana Aroma” … lightly sour because of the vinegar and incredibly deep. Really harmonic in heat and aroma. We say: “Wow! Awesome!” Type: Classic allrounder!
The Born to Hula Cayenne is a natural fit to the Cajun-Cuisine. As a spice it’s perfect anyway. We like it with breakfast or at dinner, with some scrambled eggs or chicken wings. As they say: “it’s not just a hot sauce, it’s a way of life!!” …
And so, born to hula is part of our “family”
