Description:
This variety is probably one of the finest C. frutescens. The pointed cone fruits ripen in a variety of colors before they are finally bright red.
Own experiences:
In the field, the Purrira, like all C. frutescens, has been quite difficult in the season. The plant is a true heat lover and needs a sunny and warm place. On the balcony, however, the plants have grown well and have formed many fruits. They were aromatic and sweet.
