High River Sauce is probably the newcomer of last year. The founder, Steve Seabury, had first published a cool cookbook about potatoes "Moshed Potatoes" - as the name suggests, it has a heavy metal background. Steve is on the road working in music management and you can find him in the backstage if various metal shows. But besides potatoes, he also spends his time processing this and that chili. He has channeled his love for the hot fruit into some premium sauces and thus founded the "label" High River Sauces. High River Sauce is not only professional, but also has a sense of humor when handling hot sauces, as you can see in the below video. And since he is multi-talented, he has also founded the first New York chili festival. The so-called New York City Hot Sauce Expo had its debut in 2013. The Rogue is also exceptionally delicious and simply outstanding! We know a lot of hot sauces, but here we were really surprised at the first tests: At a whiff at the open bottle, we found the typical smell of chinense-heavy hot sauces. It will soon be fiery... the surprise doesn’t take long to arrive. It will be super-fruity! We tested it "fast" with oven-baked white bread baguette with Camembert - tastes great! Rogue is the exotic alternative to cranberry (with baked Camembert).
