This sauce is among the hottest of the hot sauces (about 50 times hotter than the classic Red Pepper Sauce from Louisiana). When the Vicious Vampire came out on the market, it was the hottest hot sauce in the world. The Vicious Vampire X-Treme Hot Sauce is continuing tit legacy. Apart from the red chili peppers it also has a slamming portion of super concentrated premium quality chili pepper extract on the ingredient list. How many Scoville does a hot sauce have? A Hot Sauce becomes hotter if the Capsaicin amount is higher. The Capsaicin amount is measured in Scoville Heat Units. The mild Hot Sauces start at 100-500 SHU (Typical Supermarket Sauces) on the Pepperworld scale (1-10) the sauces that have 2.500 – 5.000 Shu are about the average. It becomes really hot above 50.000 Scoville. This is why the Vicious Vampire is in the top of the really hot sauces. It becomes hotter only with pure Capsaicin extract, and it can go upwards of 500.000 SHU.

If the Vicious Vampire or another Hot Sauce was to hot there is something that certainly does not help: Water. With the help of water the Capsaicin is spread even more in the mouth, which intensifies the heat and does not lead to it diminishing. It is best that you eat some fatty drinks or food like milk and yogurt. Different countries, different habits: Chines swear that the dampened rice is a certain heat killer. Caution: This sauce turns faces of unsuspecting consumers into sweaty wetlands. It should only be consumed by extreme chili pepper fans in the most cautious way. Use very sparingly and not undiluted.
