Crema di Peperoncino – extra hot chili puree from Calabria!
Earlier known as Cremapic! When first tasting Cremapic (short for “Crema Piccante”), a teaspoon of it was too much to take. Fiery! Unbelievable how crazy hot the little Calabrian devils can get – the full bill! Also highly aromatic, which is accentuated by the olive oil.
A hearty proportion of 82% chillies! Use sparingly at first. Makes for a peppy pizza, potent pasta and brutal bruschetta.
