The bottle contained over 100 tiny, pickled red tabasco chilli peppers. I liked their taste and they're relatively hot. I tested them on various occasions and liked them most in hamburgers, mixed in rice, or in sauces. Pure they were okay too to me, but I could only eat a couple at most as they're really fiery.
The plastic lid with a hole in the centre, fixed on top of the bottle, hidden under the screw cap, is a nice addition. If you want the chillis, take the lid off. If you want to use the fluid like a tabasco sauce, then shake it out through the mentioned hole. The fluid is a bit hotter than McIlhenny's "Red Tabasco Sauce" and obviously has a similar taste which consists mostly of red tabasco chilli peppers and vinegar.
Panola also offers green tabasco chilli peppers. I much prefer the taste of the red ones, though.
