Attractive fruits that look purple at first, what is not really common for C. chinense! Then they turn into a yellow-orange and finally to a bright red color. Cause of the fact that this happens to a different time with every fruit, you´re gonna have a colorful variety. In its Peruvian homeland this chili is known for its heat and for the fruity arome, typical for Habanero.
C. annuum have a lot of colorful chilis for example the NuMex Twilight or the Abbraccio. But the C. chinense (Habanero, Bhut, Scotch Bonnet & Co.) are usually not like that!
The sort Cajamarca is named by the capital of the eponymous region in Peru. The climate is equatorial- - dry and sunny ( highest temperature in the year is 22°C, the lowest is about 5°C).
