Wasabi Powder
Sashimi (raw fish) or Sushi - without Wasabi these Japanese delicacies are hardly conceivable.
Dry the powder tastes only weak and little hot. Before use, stir it with about the same amount of water, let it stand and cool, so that a viscous paste is formed, in which sharpness and aroma unfold through the connection with the water.
In the application it results in the quantity of a fresh Wasabi Rhizom, with full taste with the advantage of the portionability!
Besides being used as a side dish to sushi and fish, wasabi powder can also be used together with other ingredients, e.g. in sauces and dressings, such as Italian or ranch dressings, or in vinaigrettes (it is also best to stir the powder into a paste first). You'll be amazed at how good a potato puree refined with wasabi tastes with grilled or fried salmon or tuna.
Ground genuine wasabi is the next best thing to the fresh grated wasabi root, which is hardly available outside Japan. Try it out!
Delivered in a glass with a black lid. Store in a cool place away from light!
